Marie Curie provides care and support for people living with any terminal illness across the UK. Our nurses work night and day in people’s homes and our hospices offer specialist care. We also support people emotionally, provide practical information, and match them with trained volunteers.

Story

The Breakfast Club has entered two teams in the 2011 Brabners Chaffe Street Charity Challenge in the Lake District.

Team 1 (Blood, Brindle & Ellis) will complete a 3.5 mile Canadian canoe on Derwent Water, 31 mile bike ride and 7 mile hill walk.

Team 2 (Barton, Taylor & Talbot) will complete a 3.5 mile Canadian canoe on Derwent Water, 20 mile bike ride and 5 mile hill walk.

Note: Team 2 is tackling a shorter course due to earlier fund raising activities that included eating all the pies.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you for your support (and prayers for team 2).
